We are a Swim School with a Difference

Our program focuses on the essentials of swimming, by empowering safety, fun, proper techniques and lifelong skills. Our highly trained and experienced coaches have a clear goal to achieve with every lesson and swimmer.

Our classes are kept small to ensure the highest quality of training and attention to our swimmers. Our school has two heated indoor swimming pools that are kept in excellent condition. The pools are maintained to the highest of standards and the warm temperature (90 degree F) is perfect for our swim program!

We encourage year round swimming for consistency allowing children to learn and to maintain their skills of excellent swimming!

Changing rooms and showers are available for use before and after lessons.

Guardian Swim School is located at 1033 Kinwest Parkway, Irving, TX 75063 with proximity to I-635, 114, and Bush Turnpike.

LEARNING

At Guardian Swim School, we have an individualist approach to learning.  Our learning techniques are scientific, progressive and swimmer centric. The focus is on teaching the right skill and then perfecting it through diligent practice.

SAFETY

At Guardian we adhere to the strictest safety standards and guidelines. All our coaches and staff members are aligned to ensure the safety of swimmers – children and adults alike.

Fun

Having fun while learning is very serious business at Guardian. Our coaches ensure that leaning is promoted through fun ways to amplify its effectiveness. Our emphasis is on the quality of experience so that it swimming becomes a skill for life.

Our Coaches

At Guardian Swim School, we are committed to excellence with continuous improvement and ongoing training.

 

We hold our swim coaches to the highest standards and provide ongoing incentives & opportunities for personal development.

  • Coaches are given clear goals to achieve and are given ongoing feedback & evaluation.
  • All Coaches must undergo our rigorous training program that includes 20 hours of in-water training and 12 hours of classroom training.
  • Training elements include: curriculum, classroom management, child development, lesson planning, organization and customer service.
  • All Coaches are trained in and follow the same program.
  • Our Coaches are encouraged to attend industry courses & seminars.
  • All Managers hold a CPR Certificate.
  • All Managers hold a First Aid Certificate.
  • Additional on-going training is provided through monthly staff meetings, in-service trainings, U.S. Swim School Association and American Swimming Coaches Association conference attendance and professional skill development programs.
