Our Pre School classes are designed for students with no swimming experience to those working towards independent swimming.  There are 5 levels in our Pre School classes that focus on the fundamentals of swimming and learning all 4 competitive strokes.

Levels

Our Pre school 1 class is designed for beginner students with no swimming experience. Our goal for this level is to teach comfortability in the water and important water safety skills. A few swimming objectives for this level are:

  • Breath control
  • Water submersions
  • Independent front and back floats
  • Proper flutter kicking
  • Safety Skills

Our Pre school 2 class is designed to build on the skills that were taught in our level 1 class. Our goal for this level is to have our swimmers swim independently 15 feet of our pool. A few swimming objectives for this level are:

  • Front and back glides
  • Front and back kicking
  • Front to back roll
  • Jumping and swimming back to the wall
  • Diving for rings

Our Pre school 3 class is designed to build on the skills that were taught in our level 2 class. Our goal for this level is to have our swimmers swim independently 30 feet of our pool. A few swimming objectives for this level are:

  • Intro to treading water
  • Swimming safety skills 30 ft
  • Intro to Breaststroke & side breathing
  • Elementary Backstroke

Our Pre school 4 class is designed to build on the skills that were taught in our level 3 class. Our goal for this level is to teach two of the competitive swimming strokes. A few swimming objectives for this level are:

  • Full Breastroke
  • Freestyle with bi-lateral breathing
  • Modified dives
  • Intro do butterfly kick

Our Pre school 5 class is designed to build on the skills that were taught in our level 4 class. Our goal for this level is to teach Backstroke and Butterfly stroke. A few swimming objectives for this level are:

  • High elbow freestyle
  • Backstroke
  • Front flip turns
  • Back flip turns
  • Full butterfly stroke
  • Refining all 4 competitive strokes
